Violência contra a mulher é abordada em espetáculo solidário em Macapá


Apresentação de dança 'Remonta' acontece no domingo (16) no Teatro das Bacabeiras. Ingresso é 1 quilo de alimento. Grupo ensaia para apresentação de espetáculo 'Remonta' Rede Amazônica/Reprodução Violência contra mulher, transfobia, machismo. Esses temas serão tratados no espetáculo de dança "Remonta" do grupo amapaense "Âmago". A apresentação inédita acontece no domingo (16), às 19h, no Teatro das Bacabeiras, em Macapá. O ingresso é 1 quilo de alimento. O grupo formado por oito bailarinos amapaenses aborda nos espetáculos temas delicados, que necessitam de discussão na sociedade. A bailarina Letícia Paixão ressalta o papel social que o grupo carrega nas apresentações que realiza. "O grupo Âmago busca levar ao público os problemas do cotidiano. Utilizar a arte para levar uma mensagem de socorro, de apoio e de entendimento às pessoas que sofrem de preconceito na nossa sociedade", justifica. Bailarina Letícia Paixão durante o ensaio para apresentação Rede Amazônica/Reprodução Compõem ainda o espetáculo "Remonta", as coreografias do grupo que foram premiadas no Festival Internacional de Danças da Amazônia (FIDA), que aconteceu neste ano em Belém, no Pará. O coletivo também tem no currículo shows feitos na cidade de Kourou, na Guiana Francesa. O ingresso para assistir a apresentação será 1 quilo de alimento não perecível, que será doado às instituições de assistência social da capital. Mensensmokkelaars wilden 18 illegale Haïtianen vanuit Coronie naar Paramaribo vervoeren

PARAMARIBO, 13 dec – De politie in Suriname heeft afgelopen weekend drie mensensmokkelaars aangehouden die 18 illegale Haïtianen vanuit Coronie naar Paramaribo vervoerden. De vreemdelingen werden ontdekt toen de politie een personenauto en een personenbus controleerde bij de controle post te Monkshoop.

De groep van illegale Haïtianen bestaat uit vier mannen, zes vrouwen en acht minderjarige kinderen; drie jongens en vijf meisjes. De illegalen en de aangehouden verdachten werden overgedragen aan de afdeling Trafficking In Person (TIP). Twee van de verdachten zijn broers van elkaar en 19 en 25 jaar oud. Ze zijn na afstemming met het Openbaar Ministerie in Suriname, samen met een bijrijder, in verzekering gesteld.

De afgelopen tijd is de controle op illegaal verblijf in Suriname opgevoerd. In september werden ook twee mensensmokkelaars aangehouden. Ze waren betrokken bij een netwerk, waarbij buitenlanders geholpen worden de grens over te steken. In hun gezelschap bevonden zich toen acht Haïtianen die ‘hoogstwaarschijnlijk’ vanuit Guyana waren binnen gesmokkeld.
